Prompts for Writing App Reviews

This is great for writing my morning pages on those mornings when my mind is being lazy. Knowing that Im gonna have some REALLY quirky and off-the-wall ideas makes me excited looking forward to writing. A great spark!

Very good idea that gives you a kick in the pants to get writing even when most of the time you might really need a kick in the gonads instead. Dont procrastinate any further.

Such a simple and yet powerful idea for an app. Would be great to have a Mac version. And the day one integration is just awesome. A little bit more customization (fonts, colors, images) would be great. Hope to see these in upcoming versions. A great start.

Dont brother. It crashes all the time. You cant éventuellement write à singles note.

Its really simple and easy to use.The prompts are okay though they could include a lot more. Also they should add a pass code lock.As one that doesnt like to share their work I dont really take to kindly to people seeing my drafts and the prompts I used either. Aside from that its really quick simple and easy to use and I somewhat like it.

This is a wonderful app. The prompts are very useful and inspire you to write something everyday.

Cant even write anything it just closes

A great app if you have writers block or want to write short stories. I personally was looking for a poetry prompt app but this works just as well, that could be something to implement in the future. That being prompts or challenges for poetry. The starting lines I get for each story are very unique and interesting, and its very easy to write a story around it. Overall I would give this app five stars, as I have yet to find anything wrong. One thing that annoys me though is I cant get out of the keyboard very easily to read over my story, other than that everything is great.

I have used this app on my iphone for at least a year. Its with me constantly for taking my half-ideas for lines of songs that float into my head and helping me in fleshing them out. I can capture them quickly and store them to review when I get a bit stale.

If you are a writer of any ilk, this is an essential app. Its a fun way to exercise creativity.

The practice of writing from prompts is always recommended by writing coaches, and this one does what it says on the tin. Nice and simple. I wouldnt write a novel in it, but I can see myself starting a lot of stories here before moving the text into another app.

It is a good app,a very funny and useful app but I am italian and some tips "in english" dont save me!!

Ok. All of you are making negative comments about this app. Now In my opinion Id rate it 5 stars because I am a person who writes on the computer. So i just type the starting of the prompt and then continue with writing. If you guys and girls arent computer writers, then they need to get this app fixed for you guys and girls. I apologize if you arent a computer writer and for wasting your time.

Although it could use some more, I find this app to be very good at what it does.

I like the bolt. Developer should license his code to other writing apps like Day One or as an Evernote plugin. If this app stays stand alone consider adding a thesaurus, grammar checker and a shortcut to selecta all so you can copy it to your destination app.

I am a writer I love writing novels, children stories, fictions etc. and a lot of the time I get stuck and need inspiration or a quick help. This app does just that. It has helped me so much to write better stories I am very grateful to have found this app.

Hit "tap here to write" and it crashes, even after a reboot of a phone running iOS7. Deleted.
