Prompts for Writing App Reviews

This is a Great app, especially if you like to write, but dont know what about. I was very pleased

Love this app! It has great prompts, and encourages me to write even when I think I have "Writers Block." Highly recommended!

After a few minutes of writing a new prompt, the app crashes on my 4S on iOS7 and doesnt save any of the work. This happens /every/ time and it even happens with already saved prompts, though it will thankfully save the work in that situation. Please fix this, guys. I loved this app before this recent "update" broke it for me.

Great app. Syncs w/ Dropbox, too. Really gets your mind out to stuck places with clever little prompts.

I love this app! As a young writer, I find topics hard to come by and the "starting lines" option helps me a lot. I see each starting line as an assignment and try to write a minimum of two complete sentences. My hats off to you guys, kudos!

I love this app! It allows me to come up with short stories and paragraphs that are interesting and helps me warm up my writing!

This application convinced me that the iPod is a viable device for writing! I especially love the stats feature--seeing how much and how long I have written is a great motivator to aim for more. I have tried a few other writing apps and most either have too many features or too few, but this one has found the happy medium. Totally worth a dollar!!

I had my doubts downloading this, due to it having little reviews, but its absolutely fantastic! It has brilliant prompts, stats, changeable fonts and font sizes, and much more! I recommend this app to anyone who writes on the iDevices.

I loved you could link to Dropbox, I loved the auto save, and the simplicity. I was in love with this app, Ive used it for a year and a half. It was beautiful and perfect for aspiring writers, such as myself. One thing though, if you delete it, on accident as I did, you have nothing. NOTHING. Its like a new app. Nothing but the "Welcome to Prompts" tips and tricks note. I had over 60 notes. All important to me. One of them was a manuscript that Ive been working on for months. Many were poems Id written also. So, unless they reply to my email, Im screwed and will seriously degrade this app to everyone I know. For I believe this is ridiculous, you may have just destroyed my future. Thanks.

Love the product and the edited layout. I look forward to the improved prompts. There is one thing that I was sad to see leave was the clock that was at the top when working on a prompt. I would love to see the clock again while working on a prompt.

I love this app & how its gotten me back into writing almost every day. The only way I could think of to improve it would be for there to be a way to sync between devices. That would be extremely helpful since I write on whichever of my devices is handy right then.

I really really enjoy this app and how it has made me start writing again. I just have one suggestion: make it possible to use italics, bold, and underline. that would be great! :)

I love this app and how its really helping me get back into writing and trying new things. I wish there were more prompts especially for poets and when I click on the Lightning bolt I wish there was more questions or help on moving forward. Love it though :)

Kick off your writing routine every day with this creative sidekick. Its a great way to get your mind buzzing in the right direction...especially if you have a deadline looming.

Runs smooth, and is easy on the eyes. Helps out with small tidbits whenever you are stuck and thats always great. Small bug with the save button not working properly - but other than that its a lovely app.

I was actually surprised. When I first used it, I found it boring. But if you have it on Starting Lines, it gives you some good ideas to start. There is also a button where it gives you ideas on where to take it. Its nice. Plus it counts your words. Now, years later, it is my favorite app on my phone. I use it daily. Its really easy to navigate and use. I love it. I recommend it completely. It was so worth the money.

I love this app, but is there a way to save the starter lines, or browse through them and come back later? I really like some of them, but noticed once you move forward, you cant go back. It would be nice to have this as a feature.

I thoroughly enjoy this app. The prompts are very nice and help with writers block or as a warm up to writing other important things. I noticed that if I started a prompt and didnt like it, or chose not to write it for some reason, it counted as a 0 word count entry. This is frustrating because I actually was looking forward to seeing the average word count per entry. I think that the average word count per entry should only be based on saved entries and not all attempts.
