Prompts for Writing App Reviews

I know I saw the latest update but still, as I type, it still doesnt auto-scroll as I type. Im using a iPod touch 4th gen.

Great for people stuck in a creative block. I love that the starting lines are really simple which does not restricts you in any particular way. Just keep it as simple as possible. No need for any fancy modifications.

The app is wonderful, my suggestions would to be to add more fonts, add a text color option, and add some prompts that are written in first person since all the the current prompts are just in first person.

Ive always considered myself an amateur poet but with the help of this app , I feel so much better and confident ! Its great !

I rate the app a three, because I have mixed feelings. The iPad version shuts down as soon as I try to do anything other than simply open it. The iPhone version works without issue, and I very much enjoy it. Is there anyway that I can sync the two so that my writing shows up in both? Im assuming the glitch will eventually be fixed.

Every time I open the app up and push for a new prompt, it crashes. I have never used the app before, and it will probably be good once it works, but it is literally unusable.

There is nothing worse than your brain being sparked to pour emotion out just to have it disappear. The app force closes every time I get a decent amount typed out. When I open the app back up its gone and so is the inspiration. Im done.

After update, still crashes upon starting a new entry. iPad mini with retina, iOS 7.0.4

AGAIN!!!!!!! It still wont work. When I tap "Press Here To Start Writing" or the + button, it crashes. This needs fixed A LOT. If it helps, I use an iPod 4G.

I appreciate that the developers attempted to fix the crash problem in a timely fashion, however I am still having the crash at the same spot and havent been able to write anything yet. Still very eager to try this out. ^_^ keep working on a fix please. I look forward to the next update.

Gotta feel bad for the developer of this app. App still does not work even after the update that declares the crash bug has been fixed.

Thank you developers for fixing the app crash problem. No more problems. I can finally give you guys 5 stars! The app works as it should. Its fantastic for creative writing!

The app is finally fixed and works beautifully. The prompts are nice and I love the customization. It now works just as promised. I love it!

I love, love, love this app. The only issue, is that when I try to get the menu back while writing, my notification center comes down instead, and I havent found a way around it. Im not sure what to do about that- in the meantime, Ill use auto save and go from there. Overall, great app- just one small problem!

I love this app so much I think the only complaint I have is that I cant password protect it but other then that its a great app and there are absolutely no crashes.

Not only does this app have brilliant short starting phrases to spin off of when Starting Lines is turned on, but its lightning icon (producing new prompts and thought-provoking ideas) provides unique yet helpful ways to overcome writers block. The design in Prompts - For Writers is beautiful and easy to use with simple one-touch saving and an autosave option. My favourite feature has to be the option to set a writing reminder; combined with the prompts, I write daily now! This app earns an easy five stars and should be a writing staple for anyone, whether struggling to write, dealing with writers block, lacking ideas, or simply looking for a new way to write. Congrats to the creator, Tanner Christiansen!

I use this for foreign language study in order to find things to write about. I havent yet used this for writing in English yet, but I do plan on it in the future. Great, great ideas.
